Day Trip: Cezanne's studio in Aix on the centenary of his death

Paul Cézanne's hat and coat still hang in the corner, near the baskets and pottery he painted a century ago. The Lauves studio where Cézanne created his last works is a 30-minute walk from the centre of Aix. There are no Cézanne paintings, but it's well worth the visit.
